Killed while in fight

It can still be done.
No lag thing.

It seems that for the other players you are not in the fight (time-out?)

example:
You enter a fight
You go afk
Fight times out?
You are still in the fight
Player B kills you (chat shows it) while you are still in the monster battle screen.

it doesn't time out, you just have to hit the monster first or it doesn't count on other people's screens...

I always go halfway into the fight.

hmmm, never had that happen before then, there have been times when I've left it halfway through a fight for hours at a time and come back alive :/

Had it done to me several times. I have learned not to trust mobs as protection, only as meat sheilds. And like all sheilds, they dont guarentee protection, just offer some protection.

Anyways, as the one who killed the bat, let me tell you that he looked like he had gone afk, but i didnt see a (f) by his name, so i dont know what happened. All i know is it took a good many hits (like 16) to finally kill him off. And i was pretty buzzed afterwards. Anyways, decline is your only sure bet that your not going to get killed.
